Details You’ll find 31 sites for families or small groups (10 sites with full hookups of water, waste, electricity and cable TV), firepits, bathroom facilities with hot showers and flush toilets, a tiny general store. Getting There Hobson is at 5210, W. Pacific Coast Highway, west of Ventura. You can take the Sea Cliff exit and head southeast about two miles. Costs and Reservations Spring/Summer: From April 1 to Oct. 31 Hobson operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and does not take reservations. Non hook-up camping fee is $25 per day; fee for hook-up sites is $45 per day (fees are payable by cash or check). Hobson has 15 hook-up sites. Fall/Winter: From Nov. 1 to March 31 Hobson is reservation-only. Make reservations by calling Ventura County Parks Department at (805) 654-3951. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Individuals pay a $10 reservation fee, groups pay a $20 reservation fee. As in spring/summer, non hook-up camping fee is $25 per day; fee for hook-up sites is $45 per day.
